The UBC Wargamers Society Lurking deep in the shadows, in the dark, dusty, dank depths of the SUB ( that is, until the custodian replaced the bulbs) dwells the UBC Wargamers Society...

The UBC Wargamers Society is a club for gamers of all clans, creeds, class (or faculty), and most importantly, games. The club office is conveniently located adjoining a common area in the SUB basement (see map) where members frequently play CCGs ( Magic the Gathering, Legend of the Five Rings), RPGs (Dungeons & Dragons, Arcana Unearthed, Shadowrun, and many more), other games on their labtops (World of Warcraft, Defence of the Ancients, Final Fantasy, etc.) and even board games (The Settlers of Catan, Risk, Carcasonne, Dune, and many more) and other card games (Munchkin, Lunchmoney, and others).

Moreover, the common space is a great place to socialise with other gamers (i.e. argue about games, law, politics, Iain's mom) and procrastinate over homework. The club has an extensive library of fun board games (and books too!) and old games resources (c'mon, when's the last time you played Dragonquest?) as well as a working microwave, a ghetto PC you can play Doom on, and a fridge fully stocked with low-priced candy bars and pop.
